Your story comes first
You’ve been through a lot, and the last thing you need is a financial advisor talking only about themselves. At Golden Goose Wealth Planning, your story is the center of everything we do. We’re here to walk beside you, help you make sense of your finances, and give you the confidence to move forward.
Who You Are
Our clients are strong, capable women navigating seasons of change. Some are widows who never expected to be making financial decisions alone. Some are business owners who want to feel more confident about how their work supports their life. Some are women rebuilding after divorce, or carrying the responsibility of an inheritance.
What they all share is a desire for clarity, peace of mind, and a trusted partner to lean on.

Guiding You Through Financial Transitions with Compassion and Expertise
I’m Stephanie Trexler, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who has dedicated my career to helping women through life’s transitions.
My role isn’t to dazzle you with jargon or overwhelm you with charts. My role is to listen deeply, simplify the complex, and give you practical, compassionate guidance so you can move forward with confidence.

I know the financial industry can feel intimidating. That’s why I built Golden Goose Wealth Planning differently, rooted in empathy, focused on education, and designed to empower you to feel in control of your money.

Professional Background
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Personal Financial Planning from Central Michigan University. To deepen my understanding of the emotional aspects of financial decision-making, I earned a Master’s degree in Advanced Financial Planning with an emphasis on Financial Therapy from Kansas State University. This unique combination equips me to address both the technical and emotional facets of financial planning, ensuring a holistic approach to your needs.

Industry Leadership and Advocacy
My commitment to the financial planning profession includes serving as the former President of the Financial Planning Association of Michigan, where I contributed to education, mentorship, and career development initiatives. I am passionate about mentoring aspiring financial planners and advocating for increased female representation in our field.

Community Involvement
Beyond my professional endeavors, I find purpose in giving back to the community. My husband, Josh, and I volunteer with CASA of Kent County, supporting children in the foster care system. Additionally, I founded the Grand Rapids chapter of Once Upon a Room, a nonprofit organization dedicated to brightening the hospital rooms of pediatric patients during extended stays.

Personal Interests
In my personal life, I cherish time spent with family and friends, whether by the lake, attending concerts, or exploring new destinations. I have a passion for hosting gatherings and celebrating life's moments, big and small.

Connect with Me
I understand the unique challenges that come with losing a spouse and am here to provide compassionate, expert guidance as you navigate this new chapter. Together, we can create a financial plan that honors your past and empowers your future.

What This Means For You
When we work together, you won’t feel like just another account or number. You’ll feel supported, understood, and equipped to face whatever comes next.
This isn’t my story, it’s yours. I’m simply here to help you step into your next chapter with peace and confidence.
