FAQ
Who is your typical client?
While we serve clients from all walks of life, we tend to work with busy women and their partners.
Will you make me sit through long investment discussions?
Are you a fiduciary?
Absolutely, ALL of the time! Acting as a fiduciary means I am acting in your best interest 100% of the time. I have signed a fiduciary oath and have promised to always act as a fiduciary. Not all financial advisors choose to or are required to act as a fiduciary.
What will you help me with?
We will create a customized financial plan just for you. This will cover areas of financial planning such as:
-
Cash flow management
-
Investing in your 401(k)
-
Managing student loan debt
-
Building a college fund
-
Reviewing employer benefits
-
Estate planning
-
Tax planning
-
Gifting strategies
-
Charitable planning
-
Risk management
-
Planning for retirement
-

No, your time is valuable! While investor education is important, we want our time spent together to be productive. We strive hard to strike balance between achieving your goals and keeping you informed. We will not throw charts at you!
How often do we meet?
Just like your financial situation is unique to you, so is your meeting schedule. Most clients prefer to meet between 2-4 times per year. I am also always accessible by Zoom, phone or email.
How do you get paid?
Since we are a fee-only firm, we never receive commissions from the investments we recommend for you. We also will not sell you life insurance or annuity products. We are compensated for providing financial advice, not selling mutual funds. The financial planning profession does not have a standardized fee schedule, and fees vary from firm to firm.
An annual fee is calculated based on a percentage of your assets under management. This fee can be paid on a monthly basis starting at $250 a month or is paid from your investment accounts quarterly.
